Conversion Spotlight
Recently, a number of newly converted condo projects popped up in the MLS. Here’s a breakdown of these developments located in West Seattle, First Hill, Lake Washington and North Seattle.
Bellevue Towers open house event
Bellevue Towers, the Eastside’s most hyped (and likely to be one of the region’s few condo successes) is hosting an open house of three newly completed model homes. The model homes, which range in size from 800 sf to over 1,600 sf, showcase three distinct interior designs with budgets from $20,000 up to $100,000.
Sylvan Ridge Townhomes – West Seattle
Sylvan Ridge is a large planned development of 178 two-bedroom + den rowhouse-style townhomes in the High Point / Delridge area of West Seattle.
A tower grows in Belltown
HAL Real Estate Investments recently acquired a 12,960 square foot parcel just north of the Cinerama Theatre along 4th Avenue on which it plans to construct a 400-foot residential tower with 360 units.
The Danielle Condo – Ballard
The Danielle is the latest new construction condominium development in Ballard and is conveniently near the heart of old Ballard. The six-story building will offer 31 homes with numerous floor plans from open one-bedrooms to two-bedroom penthouses.
Duncan Place Condos | U-District
Duncan Place is the latest condominium development in the University District area located at the SW corner of NE 47th St and 8th Ave NE. With most of new developments near the city center, Duncan Place is only the second new construction project in the U-District in the past couple of years.
1350 Alki – West Seattle Condo
The 1350 Alki Condominium project is one of the newer developments along Alki Avenue SW. This boutique condo features only ten homes with two units per floor, conveniently located to Alki Beach.
Laconia rethinking condos
Laconia Development, the Bay area development firm who’s planning to build two condominium buildings in Seattle, is rethinking those plans. Instead, Laconia may proceed with the projects as apartments.
Essex On The Park – Bellevue
Essex On the Park is the latest entrant into downtown Bellevue’s luxury condo landscape. At a time when other Bellevue projects are being impacted by the market downturn (i.e. European Tower, Washington Square), Essex is moving forward.

This afternoon Lorig Associates hosted a special tour of its exclusive 200 West Highland condominium development located across from Kerry Park.
