2008 Seattle condo appreciation rates
Citywide, the 2008 median price for Seattle condos depreciated by just 0.9%, from $315,000 to $312,000. Most areas did see declines but a handful of neighborhoods realized healthy gains.
December 2008 Condo Market Update
Bucking conventional wisdom December results turned out better than had been prognosticated. The median price rose to the second highest monthly level in 2008, the inventory supply continued to fall and more offers were went under contract.
Third quarter 2008 condo market update
Third quarter results showed no Earth shattering revelations about the market – prices and sales are down. Seattle’s condo median price for Q3 2008 was $305,000, down 5.3% from the same period last year.

Seattle’s condo market has experienced considerable fluidity, yet through first eight months this year the citywide condo values have remained on par with 2007.
May 2008 Condo Market Update
May’s condo market performance reflected an improvement over April marking the second year-over-year increase in median price this year. At $320,000, Seattle’s condo median price increased 2.4% over April and 4.1% over May of last year.
