Top Ten Seattle Condo Sales for 2014

Last year was another phenomenal year for Seattle’s condo market, particularly in the luxury condominium segment. The number of units sold, total dollar volume and price per square foot all rose over 2013. The values of the top ten condo sales also increased considerably compared to the prior year.

Sales of $1 million-plus Seattle condominium properties increased a considerable 21.5% over 2013, from 76 to 92 units. The total dollar sales volume increased a whopping 37.7% from $111,173,530 to $153,051,850, while the average price per square foot rose 10% from $706.33 to $776.64. The average size of a million+ dollar condo increased slightly from 2,071 to 2,170 square feet.

Here’s a look at the Top Ten most expensive Seattle closed condo sales of 2014:

  • Price range: $2,395,000 to $6,100,000
  • Average price per square foot: $1,064
  • Number of bedrooms: seven 2-bedrooms, two 3-bedroom and one 4-bedroom
  • Average size: 3,252 square feet
  • Location: Downtown Seattle, Queen Anne, First Hill & Leschi

Beyond Seattle, the only other condo sale in the region that would make the top ten list is the penthouse suite at One Main Street in Bellevue, which went for $6,000,000.
