I heard this was the VIP opening and that the public grand opening is on October 21-22.

I was also walking by the site last weekend with my girlfriend and we went across the street and saw that the old QFC has a proposal in for a 6 story 350 unit apartment building. I believe it has been approved yet but they are in the process. We’ll see I guess.

Oops I mean it hasn’t been approved yet…

Correct, the public Grand Opening is October 21st. However, the presentation will be open to the public as of October 7th, even for those who did not sign-up as a VIP on their website (they’re unlikely to turn interested buyers away). If someone is interested, they really can’t wait till the 21st since reservations will start on the 7th.

The old QFC has been in talks for awhile and will be designed under the new height restrictions. It will probably block much of city/Olympic views that Brix will have. I’m interested in the townhomes on the quieter 10th Ave side.

I’m interested to see what they price the two storey lofts at. I do like the location though.
