A million bucks for a 1-bedroom

By on March 26, 2007 in Real Estate with 2 Comments

Ok, so it’s in Ka’anapali, Maui. Received an email announcing the final release of the Honua Kai condominiums, part of a mega resort project. I’m amazed with Seattle prices, but this is something else:

  • One bedrooms from $695,000
  • One + Den from $1.05 Million
  • Two bedrooms from $1.325 Million
  • Three bedrooms from $2.4 Million

It’s pretty, though.

They’re also taking the show on the road with VIP preview events in California and Calgary.

they had a preview event in seattle last fall. i think they’ve also been to Vancouver, SF & LA.

first release, a year ago, sold out in one day (over 300 units & over $400 million in RE in 8 hours, i believe). this release is not selling quite as fast.

it’s being marketed as the first “non-time-share” condo development built on maui in over 20 years.

needless to say, maui is expensive. but, kauai is not much “cheaper.” check out this property in poipu:

That’s pretty nice too. I think the Trump Tower in Waikiki sold out in one day as well.
