Interesting concept from the new architect for 2nd & Pike. My guess, the angled upper levels will provide more SW and NW view units, though it’s hard to discern direction based on these early mock-ups. Unfortunately, the street & lower-level portion are less than impressive. Click here to view the image.

The developer of 2nd & Pike, Urban Visions, is proposing a 40-story tower featuring a 5-star hotel with 200 guest rooms, 150 condominium homes and 10,000 sq ft of retail space.

    Agree about the (seemingly) poor aesthetics of the lower levels. This is on the critical pedestrian coridor from Pike Place Market to the Convention Center so the apperance from the ground should not be taken lightly. This unfortunatley looks very 1970’s…
