Queen Anne High School
Want to live in a one-of-kind home? The historic Queen Anne High School is undergoing a conversion into 139 upscale condominium homes at the crest of Queen Anne Hill. The conversion will maintain the neoclassical building’s historic features and will include lofts, one- and two-bedroom homes, as well as two-bedroom town homes.
The bright and airy homes at Queen Anne High School will feature:
- signature soaring ceilings
- many homes with step-up bedrooms
- exceptionally large windows with expansive views of the city
- hardwoods in the entry & kitchen
- buyer’s choice of decorative carpeting
- stainless steel appliances
- granite countertops in kitchen
- custom kitchen & bathroom cabinetry
- marble slab bathroom countertop
- tiled bathtub surround
- stained wood doors and casings
- historic elements, including old school blackboards in some units
The building is just steps away from Queen Anne’s vibrant hill top community. Residents are literally neighbors with the 5 Spot, Gorditos, Pasta Bella, Trader Joes and the Metropolitan Market.
The Stranger’s Tom Francis recently toured the School with the developer’s vice president. Read his blog post at The Stranger: The Old Queen Anne School. Note: The Stranger is an alternative weekly.

What are the options for parking?
Each home comes with an assigned parking space. Depending on the size of the home, some are in the close, convenient uncovered parking lot; other homes have a secure common garage parking space.
Lovely units but the Home Owners Association fees are extremely high. I wonder why?
Also, the building doesn’t have full-sized washer/dryers in-unit.
