The Press development includes two buildings, a converted apartment building at the corner of Belmont and Pine St and the adjacent new construction addition. Minimum bids for one-bedrooms begin at $185,000 (last asking price ranged from $334,950 - $364,950) while the minimum bids for the two-bedroom range from $210,000 to $255,000 (last asking price ranged from $364,950 - $467,450).

The presentation center is open daily between 10 am and 5 pm at 1610 Belmont Avenue.

The auction will be held at the Grand Hyatt Seattle at 721 Pine Street. Interested bidders should review the auction website thoroughly as an auction registration form and deposit are required.

Seventeen07 auction leftovers

A few weeks ago Seventeen07 condominium, a conversion at 1707 Boylston Ave on Capitol Hill, had put up for auction 17 unsold units.  They successfully sold 14 at auction (apparently holding back 3 units) for over $3 million.

Now, those 3 remaining units are back on the market at “auction pricing”:

First Church Seattle Update

First Church SeattleReceived a project update from First Church this afternoon. The Capitol Hill church-to-condo conversion is on schedule with work on the interior progressing. When completed in the first half of 2009, the church will be home to 12 multi-level luxury townhome units centered around the church’s dome.

The two-bedroom homes, which span 3 to 5 levels, range in size from 1,109 sq ft to 2,269 sq ft. For more detailed info, floor plans are now available on the projects website: www.firstchurchseattle.com.

Pricing information and home sale release will take place later this Summer. Though, individual units have been sold as raw shells.

Not quite a short stroll.

Capitol Hill:

The developer for the 514 E. Pine Street, the strip on Pine between Summit & Belmont, has filed an application for a 6-story 106-unit residential building, plus retail space. The SLOG has a rendering and a lively discussion.

A hearing has been set for 1827 Broadway, where Chang’s Mongolian BBQ used to be, and the adjoining parking lot. The proposal is for a 6-story 65-unit residential building with a restaurant at street level. Wednesday, April 18th at the Yesler Community Center at 8:00 PM.

Green Lake:

A supplemental hearing as been set for 7104 Woodlawn Ave NE, the former Vitamilk block. The proposal is for two 6-story buildings consisting of 236 residential units and retail space. Monday, April 16th at the University Heights Community Center at 8:00 PM.

Downtown:

The 1800 Terry project, the old Regence Building, has received a design review conditional grant for its 30-story 261-unit residential tower.
