First Hill’s long anticipated condo project is finally opening its doors to the public. Luma’s sales center will open this weekend at 907 E Pike St (corner of Pike and Broadway) from 11 am to 6 pm.

Luma will be the first condominium development in the Capitol Hill / First Hill area in 7 years, satiating buyers appetite for homeownership in one of the city’s trendiest locales.

The 24-story tower’s location near the Pike/Pine district will offer residents convenience to downtown, South Lake Union and everything the Hill has to offer – drink, food, nightlife, the arts.

Luma’s 168 units provide a variety of floor plans to meet different buyers needs for open one-bedroom, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes.

There are three distinct interior color palettes: Slate, Cloud and Espresso. Most buyers will probably opt for the Slate or Espresso options, which provide a deeper, richer interior feel.

The homes feature 9′ ceiling height and a long list of upscale finishes as standard including:

  • Quartz and granite slab counters
  • Custom wood cabinetry
  • Hardwood and tiled flooring
  • Stainless Bosch and Samsung kitchen appliances with a gas cooktop
  • Whirlpool and LG front loading washer and dryer
  • A limited number of upgrades are available including marble waterfall countertops

Where most condo towers reserve the coveted corners for two-bedroom homes relegating one-bedrooms to the middle of the building’s floor plate, Luma offers a fair number of one-bedroom corner unit homes along with two-bedrooms.

There’s a lot to like about Luma. It will be favorite among buyers and investors alike for sure. Though, there are oddities as well. For example, not all buyers will appreciate accessing the bathroom through the bedroom, particularly with company over (select one-bedroom homes). Or, having to walk through the bathroom to get to the closet. And, some homes have bathtubs while others have only showers.

Luma’s website will provide complete floor plans, unit color palette and pricing information.

As with any pre-sale, buyers have the opportunity to their own representation. Contact us to find out how we can help you with your new home at Luma and to learn more about the Luma purchase process.
