A new condo developement planned for Belltown
It’s still early, but the Puget Sound Business Journal reported that a Chinese-based company is looking to develop condos on land it recent purchased adjacent to the fire station on 4th Avenue in Belltown. Initial reports indicate a 22-story building.
The developer of a downtown Seattle high-rise residential tower announced this week the new building will be condominiums.
On Tuesday the Business Journal reported that a Chinese company paid just over $20 million for a quarter block in the Belltown area. In a follow-up interview, TeamRise representative Randy Lim said Wednesday that the units will be for sale, rather than rental properties.
They’ll be “condos first and foremost due to current demand,” Lim said.
