2nd Avenue Towers Design Review Meeting

On Tuesday, July 22nd, the city’s Design Review Board will hear two proposals for high-rise structures on 2nd Avenue - 1915 2nd Avenue and 1931 2nd Avenue, both have been before the board previously.

Heron Pagoda On Hold

Just some observations…

Spoke with King5’s Bernard Choy today about some major price decreases, namely Madison Lofts and Cosmo. Check out unit #210 at Madison Lofts, SW corner unit - was $549,000 now $429,950. In his report, Bernard stated ML is taking some pretty steep decreases, up to $200,000.

2015 2nd Avenue Design Review

Due to landmark review requirements for the Terminal Annex Building, the 2nd Avenue twins are proceeding individually. A design review meeting for the 2015 2nd Avenue project has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 24th at 5:30pm at Seattle City Hall.

As previously mentioned, there has been a few changes occurring with the Stadium Lofts project. Since its initial debut Stadium Lofts has been through a redesign and acquired a new lead developer, Barrientos, which has resulted in delays.

AVA Condo Update

AVA (website) announced they’ve recently secured a Master Use Development Permit (MUP). The 39-story tower at 8th and Pine will feature traditional condominium homes and a luxury hotel. AVA’s developers anticipate construction to begin by the end of the year.
