Her wealthy father set up a trust arrangement with LC Smith to provide for her future. Sometimes she doesn't leave her apartment for weeks at a time. Rumor in the building is that she unplugs the single elevator that goes up to her apartment at night because she's afraid people are going to break in while she's asleep.
