yes, i did purchase a condo in moda and they rescind the contract to convert as they say financing is an issue

Seems like there are some questions and concerns about the Moda project and what is next. Whatever the outcome , I think it is still a great building to be in either as an owner occupied unit or rented as an apartment for low income housing.

Mont – Did you you purchase at Moda? I haven’t heard anything regarding Moda, but it would appear unlikely given the project has been popular with pre-sale purchasers.

Interesting, I’m noticing a bit Google referral activity with Moda keywords. Anyway, I have a call into one of the Moda principals for verification of status.

Moda is terminating the remaining outstanding purchase and sale agreement and is not financing and complete as an apartment. Do you guys have any information on that ?

Watch out for the shrinking Condo… My unit was 338 sq feet. By the time my final paper work came out it was 301 sq feet and I lost my slider as well. Losing that much sq feet without a mention was too much for me and I backed out….If interested contact them all the units lost 11% of there size. I can’t imagine I was alone in leaving. By the way the adjusted price for the unit was 538$ per sq foot…..not such a deal anymore

Moda sold out a couple of days ago. They do have a waiting list for those still interested in purchasing. There’s always a possibility someone may not fulfill their purchase and open up an opportunity for someone else.
