YFNA – thanks for taking the time to comment. The issue you bring up with Aspen really is no different with many other conversion projects, but certainly something buyers may want to take into consideration. And, aroma and noise are encountered in condo-grade projects as well…not something only attributable to Aspen.

I lived in this building before the conversion and unless they did some major soundproofing improvements, I would steer far clear of this place. Not only did I have to listen to people screaming next door but the hallways often smelled of Beef Stroganoff or some other nasty concoction that the neighbors were cooking up. I wouldn’t recommend the Aspen Condos to my worst enemy.
